Aafartens kanoudlejning parking guide
City-route: Munke Mose - Skovsøen - Munke Mose
With start and end at Munke Mose by the Aafart kiosk, there are several parking options available. Odense C offers many parking opportunities, but most require payment or have time restrictions. We recommend parking in the ‘Filosoffen’ parking garage, which is close to Odense Aafart.
You will find the canoes at Aafartens Værksted, located approximately 700 meters from the Filosoffen parking garage. You can view the location of Aafartens Værksted on the map here:
Bellinge - Munke Mose
Starting at Engen by Skovsøen and ending at Munke Mose by Aafartens Værksted, you have two parking options:
1) Park near Engen by Skovsøen: Here, you can choose to park at the parking areas near Jensens Bøfhus, Den Fynske Landsby, Fruens Bøge Station, or on the southern part of Skovalleen near Skovsøen's Ice Cream Shop. See the map here:
2) Park the car at Munke Mose: Your second option is to park near Munke Mose. There are several parking options, which you can find here: https://www.odense.dk/parkering
We recommend parking at the 'Filosoffen' parking garage, located about 700 meters from Odense Aafarts Værksted. This is where your tour ends.
Skovsøen - Munke Mose
With a start in Bellinge and ending at Munke Mose, you have two parking options:
1) Park the car in Bellinge (at Ådalskolen): Your first option is to park the car at Ådalskolen, which is close to the starting point of the tour (see map below). You will need to walk a short distance from Ådalskolen to the starting point.
2) Park the car at Munke Mose: Your second option is to park near Munke Mose. There are several parking options, which you can find here: https://www.odense.dk/parkering.
We recommend parking at the 'Filosoffen' parking garage, located about 700 meters from Odense Aafarts Værksted. This is where your tour ends.
Stige Ø: Munke Mose - Stige Ø
On the route from Munke Mose to Stige Ø, you have two parking options:
1) Park the car at Munke Mose: Your first option is to park near Munke Mose. There are several parking options available, which you can find here: https://www.odense.dk/parkering. https://www.odense.dk/parkering
We recommend parking at the 'Filosoffen' parking garage, which is a short distance from Odense Aafarts Værksted where your tour starts.
However, be aware that you will need to plan how to return to your car at Munke Mose from the end destination at Stige Ø. You can either arrange for someone to pick you up or find another similar solution. The location of the end point at Stige Ø (Det Varme Vand) can be seen here:
2) Park the car at the end point at Stige Ø: Your second option is to park the car at Det Varme Vand at Stige Ø. This will make it convenient to access your car at the end of the tour. Parking is available right next to the end point.
The Long Route: Skovsøen - Stige Ø
With the starting point at Engen by Skovsøen and ending at Stige Ø (Det Varme Vand), you have two parking options for your car. You can either:
Park close to Engen by Skovsøen: You can choose to park at the parking areas by Jensens Bøfhus, Den Fynske Landsby, Fruens Bøge Station, or on the southern part of Skovalleen by the ice cream shop. See the map here:
Park at the ending point at Stige Ø. This will make it easy for you at the end of your trip. The car can be parked right next to the end point.
